whenever i snap my firefox to half page it puts a blue box around it. also recently my close/minimize/elarge buttons have started to look different than they do on all my other applications, and i dont know how to fix both of these problems. im running windows 7 and this problem just started last night.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
