Can't update or run FF ver 28
Okey before all this mess my FF ran pretty properly, a few crash or froze but no big problem. Until I got this malware called Valluadealshopper.com which messed with both my FF and Chrome. I tried to get rid of it by adwcleaner but when I restarted I couldnot open FF or Chrome. I uninstalled then re-installed FF ver 28 yet could not launch it. Then I ran FF ver 19 and thank God it finally worked. From then I have been trying to update FF as many of my add-ons are not compatible w/ older versions, but to no avail.
I have tried Reset FF , open in safe mode, check my firewall and internet setting, fresh re-install.... nearly everything I can find on support page and this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/972913
But FF.28 still can not load. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
You may still be infected.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

oh thank you, I tried those anti-malware and they really worked. Didn't know I had so many of those bundle of joys in my comp. But sadly, it only worked once, I opened FF v28 successfully in that session however when I restarted, it didn't respond again. Anyway I'm considering to completely reinstall Window to see if it helps.
