Please take care. Sounds like spam, or possibly malware. Can you work out what application or website is generating that message ?

Although in Firefox ?? 32 the updating process is being tweaked and at the same time an effort is being made to collect some of those that accidentally did remain on older insecure and unsupported versions of Firefox.

I do not see your troubleshooting information but if you are on Fx 29.0.1 I can confirm that is the latest standard Release version.

Firefox can be configured to lie to websites about its current version number. To see what your browser is telling websites, you can use my test page here: https://jeffersonscher.com/res/jstest.php (look at the User Agent string).

If that shows 29.0 or 29.0.1, it definitely sounds like malware. For a list of cleaning tools other Firefox users have found helpful, see: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
