downloaded htm files will not open
Downloaded several .htm files from the same site. They opened fine in a separate tab the first time. I closed each of them. When I wanted to return to the files, none of them appeared in the downloads window; they were there in All Downloads. None would open however, clicking on the file name, nor would the Containing folder open, showing the file.

Are there any files that you have downloaded and saved in the location where you saved them?
If the files are no longer present in that location then you may have security or cleanup software that has removed them.
I think issue is resolved but I don't remember how!
