Yahoo is my homepage. On 10/16 14 Firefox 33.0 was updated. . Since that date, on Yahoo homepage, when I scroll using the wheel on my Wireless mouse...the article I am scrolling goes black. The more I scroll..each article I passover..goes black. Coincidence or does this new version just not working with my Windows 7? It's not the mouse as this does not occur on Chrome or Internet Explorer. Thank You

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver.
