Podcasts don't downlown, just play.
On my mobile (HTC Desire) if try to download podcast from BBC goes straight to play the podcast, no option to save it.

hello, you can long-tap somewhere on the player interface and select save audio/videoin order to download the file.

Thanks philipp, that works - a wee bit clunky and it doesn't appear to allow me to save to where I want, but it is readily findable in my Music app/folder. Many thanks again for your speedy and helpful advice. galludor.
