Whenever i try to open a Youtube video in browser, it launches the Youtube App instead of opening it in browser.

Hi, I am using Moto G with Lollipop. Recently i installed Firefox on this device. I tried to open Youtube video in browser itself but it just launched Youtube App and played the video. !!! Its quite weird because Chrome works fine. Kindly help me in this regard.

This is the expected behavior. If you want to avoid the youtube app you can use the request desktop site option in menu of Firefox to play youtube in Firefox.

Well this is not the expected behavior. As I said above Chrome just works fine and plays the video from youtube (without Request to Desktop version)

Different browsers. For Firefox this is expected behavior.
