In Firefox Hello, is there a way of overcoming its problem of recognising a videocapture program as the default web camera?
In Firefox Hello I was unable to successfully initiate a conversation until I disabled the "AVmedia Video Capture" program that came pre-installed on my PC as part of the Cyberlink DVD Suite. This program displayed as the default web camera instead of my Logitech web camera when I was INVITED to join a conversation. When I INITIATED a conversation (I normally run my computer as a User rather than an Administrator) there was no dialog box where I could set the camera, and thus the initiation failed (no video picture of myself).

Hello FelixS FireFox Hello is still in Beta version and lot of work is to be done on it. There are only basic options on FF Hello to start or join the conversation. There is no solution for you problem right now.
