I receive "no writable calendars are configured for invitations..." I have 2 calendars both are not read-only

I have my calendar setup to sync with google. Ever since I did that I receive this notification when an invitation is received instead of the "Accept, Decline,..." buttons.

I was able to resolve the problem by deleting all my calendars and then creating a new calendar using the google api.
