My Android smartphone not have Google Play Market (how install Firefox without Google Play)!
Hello,
I have Nokia X2 smartphone from Nokia X series (now called "Microsoft Mobile"). "Nokia X Platform" it's modified Android. Nokia X series instead of Google Play Market have a 1MobileMarket (market.1mobile.com) by default. But **ACTUAL** release of Firefox for Android available in Google Play market only!!! In 1MobileMarket release of Firefox often is late very much and this NOT official proprietary application with advertisement! How I may get actual release of Firefox?!
Also, On FTP often located old or beta versions of Firefox. It's mean I must have а proprietary application (like Google Play Market or 1MobileMarket) for installation Firefox! LOL! My free, private, open source Firefox demands (needs) **PROPRIETARY** application for installation!!!
Please, stop that nonsense and places on yours FTP actual Firefox versions or creates yours Market.
P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

hi, firefox is also available in alternative markets like f-droid. for other download methods like a direct download from mozilla, please refer to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
You are wrong. In F-Droid I found only old versions **NOT ACTUAL** (look at my first post). In other markets Firefox was transferred from Google Play Market and these Markets is PROPRIETARY and with ADVERTISEMENT (see my first post AGAIN).
My problem (problem for smartphones without Google Play Market) still actual. Where can I take >>NOW<< **ACTUAL** version of Firefox?

The Nokia X2 dual sim is not a normal Android phone as it is using the Nokia X platform
There were links in the wiki link posted above and for example http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/latest/
Note that the manually installed apk's of Release and Beta builds do not get get updates like you may be familiar with on desktop Firefox (on Windows, OS X and Linux). This means you have to manually install each new Firefox version whether major or update.
Also no guarantee that the mobile Firefox for Android will work properly on this customized version of Android made by Microsoft

LOL! You are wrong and you did't read my first post. I have a Nokia X2 and I know what I'm say. Nokia X Platform it's just Android 4.3 with custom launcher and Firefox works on Nokia X2 properly. Also now we have CyanogenMod for Nokia X2. Do you mean CyanogenMod without Google Service and Google Play Market it's NOT Android (LOL again) or do you mean I must have **Proprietary** market for **OPEN SOURCE** Firefox installation?

You may see files on this link for example. (OR READ MY FIRST POST FOR EXAMPLE!!!). FILES ON FTP >>>USUALLY<<< IS OLD or >>>OFTEN<<< AN DAYS OR WEEKS LATE or THERE NOTHING (where is mobile firefox 38.0.5 FOR EXAMPLE?).

The ftp.mozilla.org server always has the latest for everything, there are no delays. This ftp is where you can get Tinderbox builds every as little an hour or less depending on OS for example. The cdn may be a tiny bit behind but not like the old releases.mozilla.org mirrors system.
There may be a valid reason in this case for them to have mobile Firefox 38.0.5 on Google Play but not on the ftp. With the way you responded to me I am not going to take the time to find out why 38.0.5 is not on ftp, just for you.
The desktop Fx 39.0 is delayed due to a problem crasher caused caused by a malware on Windows.
When Firefox 39.0 is approved by QA and released soon, likely when desktop version is released then mobile Firefox 39.0 will be in the latest folder on ftp.
Versions can confuse some as there is actually a 38.0.6 for desktop Firefox however it was not for regular Firefox Release version but for a funnelcake version.
Also updates for a Release on desktop and mobile Firefox are not always made for both. It does happen.

OK. Sorry for "LOL".
But! 1. I see here release note FOR Firefox 38.0.5 (difference between 38.0.1 and 38.0.5) 2. And here for Firefox 35.0.8 >>>FOR Android<<< 3. I see Firefox 35.0.8 in Google Play Market. 4. AND! I didn't see Firefox 38.0.5 for Android on ftp.mozilla.org 5. Update for "Firefox for Android" in Google Play always in time.
But you are writing: "The ftp.mozilla.org server always has the latest for everything, there are no delays." How I must understand yours sentence?

Firefox is popularized like "most free and open program"! I want get just ACTUAL RELEASED Firefox (NOT beta, NOT alpha, NOT aurora, NOT night build). And I can't and I don't want install Proprietary markets like Google Play. I want just install "free, open source, privacy" Firefox for Android!
AND this all I did written in my first post. Why do I must repeat my question every time on every empty and useless answer?
UPD And yes, I found here http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/tinderbox-builds/ (bit thanks) but it's very difficult to installation and checking and without official guarantee! My question still actual.
