Can't use Firefox due Google browser; refuse to agree its conditions. Alternative please?

Firefox seems to use Google as its browser. Every time I want to search, a Google panel comes up, blocking the screen, and wanting me to agree to its conditions. I do not wish to agree, so guess I cannot use Firefox any more. Pity.
