Is there any way to configure Thunderbird to send email to both the primary and laternate email address outside of a list?

I am using Thunderbird 17.0.6 on a Windows 7 platform.

Some of the names in my address book have both an email address and an alternative email address. Is there any way to send email addressed to that name to both the primary and alternative email address? I know I can use a list or key the name into the TO field twice, selecting the desired address.

I was hoping for a radio button that would automatically send email to both address when the alternative email address field has a value.

There is nothing of that sort. Generally sending the same mail to the same person on two mail addresses would be considered spamming them and may see you banned from certain mail systems.
