Options > Tabs: [X] "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar"

Try to set pref(s) to false on the about:config page:

  • browser.taskbar.previews.enable = false
  • browser.taskbar.lists.enabled = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Thank you but... sorry, this did not stop the problem/feature.

What is that roll up window shade thing called?
Can it be eliminated, slowed down, reduced in size or made transparent?
 Any help is appreciated. B.T.
