Why is Mozilla's Firefox browser bulling people for donations. They don't know whether people can afford $10 or not so I think its an unfair way of raising funds and they should rethink their strategy.

If you are talking about the message on the default homepage - about:home . You can avoid seeing that by simply changing your homepage, which is quite easy.

Quite common where I live for a non-profit to solicit funds to help with on-going support for the services that they provide for free for anyone who wants to use those services. WTTW-TV does that twice a year for as long as a month, especially during December. Contribute or not - always the choice of the user. Don't like seeing those messages, don't use them when they are doing a fund-raiser promotion.
