I have two different computers. One is running windows 8.1 and the other windows 7. I noticed that the windows 8.1 machine has the current Firefox version with Funnel Cake and the other just has the current version of Firefox. Why does one have Funnel Cake and the other one does not?

The Funnelcake builds are an experiment for (new) Firefox users that offer a different Firefox version for testing the user experience.

Thank you very much. I was not a user prior to 2007, I am relatively new to firefox, so is it okay that my version (or build) does not have the funnel cake?

Yes, only some default settings might be different.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (43.0.3) in all languages and all operating systems here in case you would want the official release and not the Funnelcake version.
