I looked for the import of my google calendar into thunderbird following the guide you provide at this link: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-lightning-google-calendar. But since last November it is not possible to extract the XML-link from google calendar, they just provide iCal link. So I've tried to set up a new calendar with kind of link, configuring it as a ICS calendar but it does not work, because my appointments don't appear. How can I do? Thanks.

Connect via CalDAV (File > New > Calendar > On the network > CalDAV). You can find the 'location' information you need here: https://developers.google.com/google-apps/calendar/caldav/v2/guide#connecting_to_googles_caldav_server (at the bottom of the page under the heading 'Mozilla Sunbird')
