I am runnign linux mint maya with thunderbird 38.4.0

I am trying to export my contacts to a csv file so that I can put them on my android phone.

From the address book, I select a book and then choose tools-export. this brings up the "export address book" window. in the bottom right quadrant of the box is a listbox which contains the following values: LDIF, comma separated, Tab Delimited

I have tried all three options and none seem compatible with my phone. I would really like it if there was a CSV choice in the listbox.

'CSV' is an acronym for 'comma separated values' -- i.e. the value of each field in a record is separated from the next by a comma. It's a standard format for exporting and importing data in a database. So the 'comma separated' export option should produce a standard .csv file.
