On clicking on some website Firefox will load an infinite number of New TAbs across the top and will not stop load tabs until you Close ( X out) and reload Firefox. Just updated firefox browser couple weeks ago. DRR

You get tabs opening endlessly if you select the Firefox program to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog.

Note that you should never select Firefox as the application to handle this file when you get an 'open with' dialog.
