It's May, 2016. I've used Firefox for years with no problems on my Macs, OS 10.9.x. On X.9 and on El Capitan, the browser constantly freezes up, requiring force quit and restart. Any idea why, and can Mozilla fix it?

What is your Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
