In my old account I had favored sites like g-mail pinned to the home page for easy access. Now I have to search each time to find them. It's slow and frustrating. Nothing is fast about Firefox now .

Did you lose your old profile or is the new Firefox interface just different? I can pin sites I visit in the New Tab speed dial view; can you not add favourites and pin sites?
