I'm setting up FileLink on Thunderbird for a client and am finding that even though the file is uploaded successfully to box.com and the link is created in the email, the outgoing email still has the large attachment attached and does not go through. Attempting to delete the attachment and send with the link in the email does not allow the recipient to download the file.

Has anyone had this problem?

BTW, it did the same thing when I installed and attempted to use DropBox addin. It doesn't do that on my own installation of Thunderbird (same version, same OS - Windows 10). Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?
