Every so often I get a message from Mozilla Crash Reporter saying "Your crash report will be submitted before you quit or restart." But when I quit or restart, the message says "There was a problem submitting your report." What causes this & why?

It is possible that security software (anti-virus, firewall) is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Make sure you allow all Firefox processes including the crashreporter and the updater in your security software.
