In Firefox you can quickly bookmark the current tab by clicking the star on the Navigation Toolbar. This will open a doorhanger that allows to edit the name (title) and the location (folder) of this bookmark. You can change some properties via the right-click context menu in the "Show your bookmarks" drop-down list (button next to the star) or open the Bookmarks Manager (Library) via Show All Bookmarks.
