I've been using Thunderbird POP3 for about 10 years now. I always use Thunderbird to send email. The problem is that I can never find these sent emails on the web-mail server. Only what I send from the web-mail server will be present in the sent folder. Where can I find them and how can I retrieve them. Aren't they backed up somehwhere? Please help. Thanks./

POP mail has one folder "Inbox" and it is solely for the purpose of downloading new mail. No records of sent mail are kept beyond what Thunderbird stores on it's sent folder.

Perhaps you need to read up on the differences between POP and IMAP mail protocols. then decide which is for you.
