Hello, I've installed the add-on autoarchivereloaded and ran it. You specify the date from which older messages will be archived and scans all the accounts. Unfortunately, the plugin throws everything in the same folder "Archives" and ignores any subfolders where the original messages where stored. It was too late when I realized that 3000+ messages had been moved to the archives folder and of course all the folder classification was lost. My accounts (3 gmail accts) are all imap so before I knew it, they had been synchronized and now I have the same mess in the server. Fortunately, I do regular backups so I have a recent backup of my profile. The problem is that when I restore it, gmail wants to sync and assumes that what is in the server is what I want, so I have again the same mess once again with the old messages all moved to the archives folder again. How can I replicate my folder structure (saved in my backed up profile) and force gmail to upload it to the server ? Thanks

Hi, this is what I got Step 1 Double-click on the "Thunderbird" icon to launch the program. Step 2 Click on the "Application Menu" button. Step 3 Select "Options" from the menu, and then select the "Account Settings" option. Step 4 Click on the "Account Actions" button. Step 5 Click on the "Add Mail Account" button. Step 6 Enter your name, Gmail address and password. Click on the "Continue" button. Step 7 Select the IMAP option and click on the "Done" button. Thunderbird will populate the program with all of your Gmail folders and emails. Step 8 Copy and paste all of your old Thunderbird emails over to one of your Gmail folders. After you copy and paste your files, your Gmail account will update with the new emails.
