I have updated the logo I add to my signature, but Thunderbird sends the old logo.

Is there a way to tell Thunderbird to check for updated files?

The signature code is logo

I will just create a new name and go with that.

Your signature file may have loaded and embedded the previous image. You may need to edit your profile, by removing the old image and re-adding the new image, even if it has the same name. Images in email are usually encoded into the message, and not loaded via a link every time the message, template or signature is used.

Send yourself a message and look at its source (ctrl+u). Is it still an active link, or has it embedded the image data into the message?
