Since updating to 57.0, bookmarks no longer appear on the bookmark toolbar, even with resizing it. How do I fix this?

I updated to 57.0. My bookmarks are all intact. The bookmark toolbar is open, but nothing appears on it. Even if I try to click/drag to add another bookmark to the toolbar, it's not visible on the toolbar. I tried resizing the toolbar (via about:config) but that makes no difference, they still don't show up.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Click on Show all Bookmarks.

Clicking "Show all Bookmarks" doesn't put the bookmarks on the toolbar. (just tried it again). Unless your "Show all Bookmarks" is somewhere other than under the "Bookmarks" tab. Yes, I can get them to all come up on the sidebar, but they need to be on the toolbar. Thank you for helping..
