square tabs make me cry blood tears
It's so sharp I can hurt my cursor and so square I feel my browser is Sponge Bob. How can I bring old design back? I've even found out where the feedback form is to tell you it is ugly, please respect my effort.

So much hate for square tabs, people hated the Australis curve, Mozilla can't win can they? They're always that minority that whines about every little thing. I digress.
You might be interested in modifying userChrome.css to obtain the old look.

You're going to find a lot of variations on how to do it. Here's one from a past thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1182548

a bit. Some design ideas are really bad even though every one copies them. Like making everything flat and square stating from win8. I'm using Firefox since its first versions, but this is the first time I want my feedback to reach developers. Anyway, thanks for links to userChrome.css

No, you (and some other people) think they are.
There just is no accounting for tastes. What one likes - the other dislikes. What one loves - the other hates.
The developers tried to please everybody, which is near to impossible, but they gave it their best shot and worked really hard.

Moses saidI don't know about whining. But I usually have a large number of tabs open, and the combination of the more visible border between tabs, and colored tabs, made it much easier to see the one I wanted. . What made FF unique was the huge number of customizations and capabilities in add-ons. All of this accumulated value was just thrown away.
Wow, how unpleasant some of you guys can be! Emotive words like "hate" And these comments from the devotees of the so-called "free web".
Why not just play nice, remember that curves were a choice offered by Mozilla in the days when we were "allowed" to choose.
All you have to do is give us the custom made option to have our browser page looking the way we want it too!
I have however detected a Mozilla Move towards "Imposition" "either you do it our way or you don't do it! "
Pity of all this is that Firefox is a good browser.

Since Firefox is customizable, this is easily achievable with a quick Google search yielding results to userChrome.css and multiple Github projects. Hijacking someone else's thread is not the correct way to ask for assistance. Also, this is not a place for feedback, take that to input.mozilla.org / discourse.mozilla.org . This forum is dedicated SOLELY to user support, not annoyances about the UI, cause I've had enough of that for now.
