Why doesn't Firefox for iOS have a simple "Clear History" option like in Android?

It was always hard enough to clear history in Firefox for iOS, but with latest update, the "Clear Private Data" option seems to be missing.

Firefox for Android has a simple "Clear Browsing History" button directly in the History tab. What gives? Why is this not also part of Firefox for iOS?

There should be an option in Settings. See Clear browsing history in Firefox for iOS.

Update: While I was able to locate the setting to clear the data, the doesn't change the fact that the iOS Firefox lacks the instant clear browsing history button that the Android Firefox has.
