Hello!

Suddenly, the URL autofill on FF has stopped working. To be more accurate, it is partially working only for certain websites.

I am attaching to screenshots to understand better the case. As it can be seen, when typing f for example, the facebook.com suggestion autofills, whereas when typing g, google does not. Same stands for other websites too.

browser.urlbar.autoFill is set to true.

I have set the address to suggest only browsing history (not bookmarks, not open tabs) as this is the only one I care about.

Not sure if this has something to do with the FF 62.0 update I have done yesterday (it worked fine until that point).

Any thoughts?

Thank you! :)

Hi janus183, this could be the result of some changes we've done and may be an actual bug, but it is hard to tell with the limited information at the moment.

Please could you file a bug for us, and the developers will then likely ask some more questions which will help resolve it. Here's a link where you can do that directly:

Hello,

I’ve exactly the same problem described by the original poster, that appeared after the latest Firefox Quantum update to version 62 (64bit) on Windows 8.1 : domain suggestion in URL bar is not working anymore while the related settings on about:config and other user options are set to enable this feature.

Any suggestion is welcomed.

Thank You

Same problem here. Screen shot snippet attached showing I turned it off. Then I turned it back on, restarted FF, and no change.

Does it take more than this to activate it?
