I had my data transferred to a new computer; thunderbird can't find the profile so I have no access to email.
I've been using Thunderbird for years with no problem. My old hard drive blue screened last week, so I bought a new computer and paid somebody to transfer all the data from the old machine to my new machine. I followed the instructions and the Thunderbird profile seems to be in the exact same place it was before, but the Thunderbird program is empty, no email address, no settings, no ability to function. How do I get the program to find and synch with the profile?

Where exactly on the old, as well as on the new computer? Please provide the exact path including the name of the profile folder.
What is the current name of the profile folder when you start Thunderbird on the new system? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_how-to-find-your-profile
