Did you do a speedtest first? And it could be server limited or ISP throttle.

Hello R1tchIE,

What security software do you have (if any)  ?

Security software could be scanning the files during the download, which might slow down the process.

If you do have such software program, would you disable it (for now) to see if that will make a difference  ?

Another user mentioned that disabling hardware acceleration fixed the problem, but I wouldn't try that as a first option though.

I don't really know how to know if I have security software. Maybe you mean antivirus?

The major difference between the two is that antivirus software scans and detects the virus or any forms of malware and removes them from the system. Internet security is the one which has advanced features such as firewall, phishing detection, and capability to detect key loggers against malware.

Antivirus software could also slow down the downloading process though.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
