I am having some serious issues with Android Firefox. Running Android 8.0.1 on Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime (SM-J727T1) and several things are happening. First, it is dog slow. The only feature I use that might be performance impacting is Do Not Track. Second, if I open a second tab, display information from the first tab bleeds over. Thirdly, it completely hangs with annoying regularity. I suppose this could be thrashing, but the Chrome browser suffers from none of these issues

I have been a Mozilla user ever since there was a Mozilla, SGI, Sun, and Linux systems and wouldn't think of using anything else for a desktop. This Android version desperately needs a lot of TLC. I tried the Firefox nightly and had similar issues. Can you give me any insight about how to get this to behave? I can try to collect mem usage data, whatever, I'd certainly like to be able to wholeheartedly endorse Android Firefox but that's just not possible at the moment.

Hi

I recomend opening the Android Settings app (typically a cogwheel icon), finding Applications and scrolling to find Firefox. When there clear the cache (not data!) and you should notice performance improve.

I also recomend that you check out Firefox Preview, a work in progress (but ready to use) look at what we are currently building. Many people are reporting that it is much faster. Firefox Preview is currently available from the Google Play Store.

I hope this helps.
