When I Reply All (or Reply), the quoted message only starts with basic info, i.e. "On d/m/yyy h:mm PM, <sender> wrote:" But if I Forward, I get full recipient header info (and detailed, if View-Headers-All is set) on the quoted message. Is there a setting I can change so that Reply All includes the same header info as Forward?

Thanks for the quick response. The add-on looks perfect for what I need since sounds like Thunderbird doesn't have the option on its own.

The reason a 'Reply' or 'Reply all' does not have all the header info is because the sender already knows because they sent the email and previous recipients of message would also have the information.

The 'Forward' includes the information because it is usually forwarded to someone who does not know this information. Often it is advised you remove those details if the forwarding recipient does not need to know the details from a privacy point of view.

There is an addon which may be of help to you. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/replywithheader/

I spent several hours looking for something to do this. This worked with Thunderbird v60.8.0 for MacOS. I changed a few options and arrived at a form that looks great. Several other solutions I tried did not work.

This should have been a question rather than an answer:

Wanted the same additional header information when replying, so tried the add-on in the Helpful Reply link above. Unfortunately, when try to install it, get the message: "This add-on could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 68.3.1."

Any other suggestions? Would be nice if it was an option as to which header information should be included in a Reply or Reply All.
