Hi Mary, where did it appear before?

Library menu

There is a Recently Bookmarked section under either:

  • Library toolbar button > Bookmarks
  • "3-bar" menu button > Library > Bookmarks

If you removed or need to add/re-add a toolbar button, check the available icons in the Customize screen. This article will get you there: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars. Drag the button to the desired spot on the toolbar.

Somewhere else

There is also an optional bookmarks menu button for the toolbar: . You can add that using Customize as well.

Otherwise, was it a folder on your Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar? You could try "Undo" in the Library window.

This is like using Undo when you are editing text, it just reverses changes to your Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, and Other Bookmarks one by one in reverse chronological order. Depending on the amount of changes since the problematic one, you might lose things this way.

To open that up, press Ctrl+Shift+B (or "Show All Bookmarks").

Then look for an Organize menu and find the Undo item.
