How do I open contacts screen (to edit, add or delete same) from Firefox screen?

You couldn't possibly have read my last post (and tried the add-on); would you please do that ?

You keep saying that Firefox deleted a button - the only thing I can think of is that maybe you used to have an add-on that put an icon on your toolbar, and that that particular add-on somehow was disabled or removed (maybe was a legacy add-on). But then again : you would have remembered using an add-on ....

I still wonder why it is so difficult for you to open your Gmail and click on the cogwheel and then scroll down to "Contacts"......

I've got to go now, but I'll be back later to see if you have given that add-on a try.
