Unified Inbox is not, why not? Globalized inbox is like a lunch of alphabet soup, in three bowls when you're allergic to vowels, why is this?

W 10, Gmail IMAP and a 365 IMAP. Unified inbox puts to inboxes under each other with the Local folder inbox below that, it's empty nothing was unified, this is useless.

Creating a Global inbox works for inbox only under Local Folders at the bottom but it is mixed in with the other local folders some of which cannot be globalized, one of which is called Inbox, there are two inboxes and the only one you can delete is the one you want, err just created as a matter of fact.

They can't even be moved to reorganize for a more prominent position. In that you cannot globalize all the folders you want down there, you cannot collapse the folders in the above two accounts without losing access to the folders that cannot be globalized. The frustration and time consumed on one this is worse than useless, what gives? The left side bar has been a mess for years, fix it. If you want a donation finish the product, do the work man, plain and simple.

Some clarity is needed in your description. What is empty, the Unified inbox?

Please post a screen shot of the expanded Unified inbox, showing the Inboxes it contains with message counts.

I have done a reinstall & it seems everything works fine. So I guess it's my bad. S %# t!!! Well I guess you deserve a brief explanation. Initially unifying did not unify the Inbox it just organized accounts under their folder titles, "this is useless". I then created a global Inbox and the others at the bottom of the column, half the new folders were not acting as global folders messages were being placed in the Unified Folders above except some were being unified in the folder named Local and some were not. A lot of nosing around and I found that they were all unifying but some were in the folder title that is Spam or Trash and not the Local folder under the folder title of Spam or Trash. This meant that if I wanted to find something other than what was in my Global Inbox under Local at the bottom of the list, I would have find the folder title and then look within the folders under it to find where it was. Hence the three bowls of soup! When I did a restart they started to appear in the folder title also, I took a screenshot. I looked on the W 7 computer and it had no Local Folders under the folder titles, so I did a reinstall and got rid of the extra Local Folders under all headings. I can now collapse all folders for a well organized list view. Thank you for responding but this has taken a very long time to arrive at what I had previously had.
