Attendees invited to a meeting, created using Thunderbird calendar, for a Google calendar event, do not receive an email invitation and the calendar does not store the attendees in the event.

Thunderbird Android works fine.

Using Thunderbird 78.6.1 Provider for Google Calendar Windows 10 Pro 2004

Unfortunately, Thunderbird without Google calendar is not usable. Thanks

This appears to be the same issue reported here:

https://github.com/kewisch/gdata-provider/issues/147

Google calendars can also be synced directly as CardDAV or with the TbSync/Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV add-ons. The latter also syncs Contacts.

There is no released Thunderbird for Android. There is not even a prerelease build, only some vague discussions.
