I'm replacing my Windows 7 with a Windows 10 Pro very soon. I've read how to copy my Thunderbird Profile and move it to another PC, but it leaves me with a question. If I install Thunderbird on the new PC, won't that create a profile? If it does, would I delete THAT new profile and then paste my copied Profile to where I just deleted the new Profile that I don't need?

If you run TB on the new computer, it will create a new, empty profile, but you can usually just empty the contents of that profile folder (not the folder itself), and copy in the contents of the profile folder (not the folder itself) from the old computer.
