I put my Mozilla password in but it doesn't work! Is this a separate password different from my Firefox account password?

Are you using a Primary(Master) Password ? I suggest you change it to no password.

Yes, both passwords are different and have their own use purpose.

The Firefox Primary Password is used locally to encrypt the passwords stored in the profile folder and never leaves your computer. You need to enter this password to unlock the passwords stored in Lockwise (about:logins).

The password for the Firefox Sync Account is used to encrypt your personal data locally before it is uploaded to the Sync server and you need this password to be able to access the Sync account on other devices.
