Windows - imap new folder sync
When I create an IMAP folder on another device, that folder does not show in Windows Thunderbird unless I close and restart the software. Is there a way to force a sync of newly created folders?

Does it find the new folder if you right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe, and click Refresh?
Hi.. Yes it does, but it doesn't show it on the main screen after that.
If the new folder appears in the subscribe list, but doesn't appear in the Folder Pane even after it's subscribed, I don't know how to make it appear without restarting TB. Try collapsing the folder tree and then expanding it, to see if the tree is refreshed.
OK, collapsing the folder tree and then expanding it works. So what is that doing that hitting refresh or get messages isn't?
Why isn't there a 'sync' button if it doesn't happen automatically?
Syncing happens automatically for the message list if another folder is selected and then the first folder is selected again. Why that doesn't happen for the folder list, I cannot say. But now you see a simple two clicks accomplishes it for the tree.
It's actually 6 clicks. I think if there is no auto sync there should be a sync button that syncs all folders and messages.
