I have a Mac and use Thunderbird for email. I am getting an error message as follows: Error - ... on Local Folders There is not enough disk space to download new messages. Try deleting old mail, emptying the Trash folder am comparing your mail folders and then try again.

This occurs only for a select group of folders. The info that was in the folders appears to be gone. I have deleted old mail, cleaned up the trash, etc.

It is odd because the majority of my folders don't appear to be affected. Any suggestions???

So how much disk space is free on your device? The error is explicitly saying there is a shortage, so how much is free?

I can move messages into other folders. How would I check disc space?
