For a long time and through Firefox 105.0.3 a common workflow is using the standard MacOS screen capture functionality to keep memorable still frames from streaming videos for later reference, either during video playback or when it is paused. This worked on all the normal streaming sites. But Firefox 106.0.1 (likely also 106.0) introduced some change that broke this, so now when performing a screen capture a blank region is recorded where the video still was. Problem reproduced on Netflix, Disney+, and Crunchyroll, and it likely affects other sites too. This is a major loss of functionality, and I need to know how to make these screen captures work again. Or if it isn't just a matter of changing a browser setting, this is a major functionality loss bug recently introduced in the browser which I'm requesting to be fixed. Note that a few years ago other major browsers broke in the same way, but Firefox continued to be functional, until now. I know that it is Firefox itself and not the streaming sites that are broken, because reverting to Firefox 105.0.3 restored the lost functionality. Thank you in advance for fixing this or explaining a workaround. Also, I am willing to contribute financially to a fix for this functionality break.
