Sync Firefox on your phone or tablet
I'm trying to sync my bookmarks from Firefox mobile (Android) to my laptop (Dell) for the first time but there's no "Sync and save data" option under the dot menu on my phone nor is there any equivalent that I can find. How do I proceed?

Aha! after some more poking around the desktop version of the website I have found the bookmarks that came over from mobile. They're in their own little pocket under the upper right-hand hamburger menu next to the account (application menu) in the following order; bookmarks, manage bookmarks, that then opens a pop-up tab, and there it is in it's own little folder underneath the Firefox support ones.
I thought the sync would take all of the bookmarks and copy them to the relevant spaces with the compatible extensions and themes right away, not save them in separate optional folder. It makes sense for customization but wasn't exactly explained before I started the syncing process.

Hi
When you select Settings from the three dot menu in Firefox for Android, is your Firefox Account email address displayed at the top of the list?
Yes, it displays my account email after selecting "Settings" from the dot menu.
That suggests that you are signed into Firefox Sync.
If you tap your email address, the Firefox Sync settings will open. Do you have bookmarks set to be synced?
I am signed in and book marks are already set to be synced on both devices.
