I am running thunderbird v102.6.1 under Windows 10. An Email message text contains a valid http://www..... address, but it cannot be opened, nothing happens when I click on it. It is not highlighted in blue as I would have expected. When the same message is opened with the Outlook programme, it is displayed in blue, and can be opened when it is clicked upon. How do I get Thunderbird to correctly display and allow me to open the link?

Thank you Roger

Some links in received mail aren't clickable because the sender's mail app (often a mobile app) doesn't format links properly. View/Message Body As/Plain text is one workaround.

Send a message with a link from the W10 Mail app to see an example.

The link is shown properly for the recipient when receiving the message. Thunderbird does not show a link in the Write window when composing in plain-text.

Thank you! Viewing as Plain text did the trick.

Roger.
