OneNote Web Clipper Extension No Longer Working.
As of the past few days the OneNote Web Clipper Extension has stopped working in Firefox. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? I've tried refreshing FF and reinstalling the extension but the problem persists.

I can't find an extension of that name on the addons site. Do you have a link to the page?
Could be this extension:
OneNote is a Microsoft utility associated with the OneNote application that allows gathering information from all different sources. I don't remember when (or where ) I downloaded it. It shows as having been updated in December 2022.
It was working just fine a week ago now it's non-functional - acts like it isn't even there. Nothing happens when you click on it in the menu bar.
This is unacceptable! I use this ALL of the time and it needs to work!!
The LAST Firefox update seems to have hosed the extension! This needs to get fixed!

You can find details about OneNote Web Clipper at .. https://www.onenote.com/clipper . It seems that MS has recently removed support for Firefox. I guess this is part of MS's campaign to force people to use Edge. OneNote web clipper is an important extension for MS Office users.
Looking around this seems the best alternative as a web clipper for OneNote in Firefox .. https://www.printfriendly.com/extensions/firefox
MS OneNote clipper extension: Outrageous and none of the alternatives posted are remotely helpful I have 6 years of research and notes, clips etc on OneNote and the idea MS would just write off a major browser with such transparent self interest is outrageous pure and simple....Time to yank MS back into another long court case! If anyone hears sound information on this please post ChrisCod

Seems to me that Mozilla is the only player here with any weight or influence. You guys need to crank it up. This is typical big tech monopoly tyranny and only your voice can expose them.
Yes, I can, AND WILL HAVE TO switch to Edge or chrome because the clipper utility is essential to my work and play.
WHO is the brainchild(s) that made the decision to remove it?
There were only TWO extensions that made me switch from chrome. the Onenote webclipper and tab stash (cause chrome has yet to get that right)
I absolutely HATE when politics enters software. It's why I don't use chrome, debian, blah blah blah
Oh wait... Edge...
It wouldn't be so bad if Edge or Edge-dev actually worked ok on Linux.
It doesn't...
I have Vivaldi installed and just checked and clipper is there and works so "up yours" Microsoft. I won't used Edge anyway. Hopefully there will be a backlash and clipper will be reinstated to FF.
I am wondering if this action, if it is an attempt to force users to move to Edge rather than a genuine incompatibility, isn't contravening EU fair competition rules?
