In the last day or so Thunderbird has stopped downloading messages from frontier.com. It connects to the frontier server and then times out. I had this problem four months ago and, as I remember, resolved it by changing some of the settings, including the port. It recurred with no obvious reason. Sometimes I am asked for a password, and I enter the password that works for frontier.com mail directly, but that password seems to fail for Thunderbird. I don't know what has happened. I'd like any ideas, starting with what the correct server settings should be.

I would add that the problem appears to have begun when I automatically updated to Thunderbird 115.3.1. There were appearance changes as well.
