When trying to update Firefox on my Linux Mint system, I saw this in settings:

Updates disabled by your system administrator. Well, I am the administrator. I checked and I have administrator privilege, and I would not have disabled updates. How to I convey that to Firefox so I can update my browser?

Please email me: [removed email from public support forum] with a response.

Thanks.

Mozilla only provides internal Firefox updates for their own official builds of desktop Firefox (for Linux, Windows and macOS) from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Third-party builds like those installed from a package repository for a Linux distro like Mint do not get internal Firefox updates.
