I'm using thunderbird on two different computers (one Linux, one thunderbird) and would like to keep both versions synchronised. (Adressbook!) What can I do to achieve this?

A simple approach would be to use an established service that provides shareable addressbooks, such as Google. Each computer could then set up an CardDAV link to the addressbook.
