As Google’s search features get more and more anti-user, it is more important than ever to be able to add the “&UDM=14” after receiving their newly formatted, pathetic excuse for results.

Something has recently changed that makes this impossible.

When on a Google search result page, attempt to edit the URL only allow editing the search query. There is already a location for this, the query field.

Hey Seth, Unfortunately, mobile does not support removing search engines that come built in, like Google or Bing. (Or editing their parameters). If you want us to add this feature, you can submit an idea here.

Hi Khalid,

Thank you for your response. I may have explained poorly.

I've attached 3 images of what I'm referring to.

ffios01.png shows me entering the search query, "firefox rocks!" ffios02.png shows the resulting web page that Firefox is rending, including the URL that Firefox has landed on. ffios03.png shows what happens when I attempt to tap on the URL-bar:

The URL-bar has recently stopped behaving as a URL-bar when on a URL that is a Google search-result URL.

Has Firefox stopped treating all URLs as URLs?

I would still like to know how to get my URL bar back when searching on Google.

This is a security flaw. The URL bar should NEVER be inaccessible to ensure that my session hasn't been hijacked.

This is such poor design.
